ECS #11 is on its way!

The Emerging Choreographer Series is an intensive crash-course in self-producing; offering rehearsal space, compensation, career development consultations, and professional mentorship to selected choreographers.

The ECS Program culminates in two-fully produced performances at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (LaGuardia Community College).

In alignment with the MNE’s Emerging Choreographer’s Series 2024, choreographers Ke’ron J. Wilson and Lavy Cavaliere will both premiere evening length works. A message from the choreographers:

We are pleased to invite you to an evening of multidisciplinary work that magnifies Queer understanding around themes of visibility, connection, and community. We are ecstatic to be sharing this evening together and are thankful to Mare Nostrum Elements for providing us the resources to indulge in the worlds of amplifying Queer artistic expression.

Mare Nostrum Elements (MNE) is a Woodside based Dance and Theater non-profit dedicated to the expression of human experiences through dance, theatre and movement. Its mission is to both create and support the making of emotionally-driven stage productions that utilizes dance and theatre to enrich local communities.
