The Evolution of Separation explores the evolution of humanity, beginning with our innate need for human connection and relationships.Through movement, we examine how touch, community, and shared experience have defined us from the very beginning.

The play centers on Gabriela Johnson, a Black attorney with rheumatoid arthritis, who argues for Blackness to be included among protected disabilities. Marcus, a fellow Black Harvard Law graduate working with the ACLU, challenges her premise.

Rooted in contemporary dance and interwoven with personal storytelling, the show delves into themes of resilience, identity, and the lasting effects of social exclusion.

Between Neighborhoods contemplates histories that orbit Robert Moses's Unisphere in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, since it went up as the "theme center" for the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair.
