As part of their 10th season of bringing outstanding programming to tour in the US, The Panto Company USA is thrilled to bring the cherished, family favorite story, “The Jungle Book”, to life on stage. In this fully produced musical production, done in true Panto Company style, they bring to life Kipling’s tales with great scenery, cool costumes, full of original modern songs, bursting with more excitement than you can imagine and of course a happy ending. This long-running series fosters arts in education by introducing schoolchildren to the performing arts. SchoolTime connects the classroom to the stage by providing educators with valuable resources and engaging students in the world of theatre.
Attending the theatre is not only a fun artistic experience but equally provides students with exposure to key developmental and learning opportunities by encouraging creativity, communication, culture, imagination and patience.
Research shows that students who are exposed to the arts are more likely to be involved in community service and less likely to drop out of school.
The SchoolTime series at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center offers students the opportunity to witness the magic of live performance by providing programming tailored specifically for Pre-K to Grade 3 audiences.
