In-Person Session - Pink Fang and LAGCC Nursing Department

Event Description

LPAC 's collaboration with Pink Fang and LAGCC Nursing Department

Artists from Pink Fang (formerly known as Ping Chong and Company) will work with nursing students in their final semester before graduation to help them reflect on their personal and professional aspirations as they transition from students to practitioners. The process will use Pink Fang's interview-based methodologies and community-engaged practices, with the goal of activating skills around personal narrative, intercultural communication, and self-expression and self-reflection, to help support the learning outcomes of the SCR280: Leadership and Delegation capstone course. Over the course of two in-person workshop intensives, and an additional online coaching session, the artists will work with students to use theater, narrative, interviewing, and public speaking skills, leading to the successful completion of course requirements including the Global Learning Assignment, Video Assignment, and Interviewing practices.
