World Cup at LPAC

This Summer, LPAC brings the most anticipated event of the year – FIFA World Cup 2026 to your neighborhood. In partnership with Queensboro Dance Festival, LPAC is turning your favorite public spots in Western Queens into vibrant hubs of culture and connection. Presenting a series of free outdoor screenings that celebrate the global spirit of the FIFA World Cup amongst the enthusiastic soccer fans of Queens. Each event pairs live performances and community activations with the excitement of match day, while inviting neighbors, families, and fans to gather, cheer, and experience the World Cup together, and it all leads up to a large-scale final match celebration on the LPAC greenway.

World Cup Screening #1

Friday, July 10 1pm - 5pm - 46th Street Open Street in SunnySide

Kick off the excitement with a World Cup Quarterfinal event on Friday, July 10 from 1pm to 5pm at 46th Street Open Street in Sunnyside. In partnership with Queensboro Dance Festival, the afternoon begins with community activations and live performances, leading up to the match at 3pm. Come early, grab a spot, and enjoy an energetic neighborhood celebration as the stakes start to rise.

World Cup Screening #2 - Final Match

Sunday, July 19 12pm - 6pm - Greenway

Join us for the most anticipated match of the tournament, the World Cup Final, on Sunday, July 19 from 12pm to 6pm at the Greenway at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (LPAC). This large-scale celebration brings together multiple partners, expanded programming, and two screens for an immersive viewing experience. Arrive early to enjoy performances and activities, then cheer on the world’s top teams as they compete for the championship in a vibrant, community-filled setting.
